A Full Weekend of Easter Celebrations.

Community Network Ministries celebrates Easter Weekend in a new structure, with a big celebration and a full day of baptisms.

“This Easter, we had a big celebration worshiping our Lord. We had a large number in attendance. Last year, our church structure collapsed due to bad weather. We have been worshiping together in a makeshift structure since then. Recently, we were able to raise the funds to put up new walls and complete the new roof with carpets (tarps) just this last week. With the materials we used, this new structure should last about two years before major repairs are needed. We finished in time to worship this Easter in the new building.

On Saturday, we started our celebration by heading down to the water to baptize 57 new followers of Jesus. The shore was full of people singing and lined up to be baptized.

During our Sunday gathering, we had extra choirs share with us. Four groups presented songs for the church. I taught on the theme of ‘What are you looking for?’ from John 12:21-27 and 20:1-18. We ended our time together with communion.

It was a full day of worship and celebration.”
